Correctness of certificate of availablity of space for DG sets

 Space available; consent of landlords awaited. Letter received by house-owners from M/s.HP or Nodal officer No space at two sites in Pondicherry (RangeIA,2B / Range 2A,2C,2D,2E) and  Vriddhachalam Range ; At  Tiruvannamalai, Range office is shifting.

Connectivity for stand-alone range offices : provision of broadband ADSL connnection.

Redeployment of PCs If all the existing workload and functions are not switched over to ACES project immediately and existing computers are converted to thin clients without retaining popular O/S and office applications to carry out remaining workflow not covered by the ACES project and their local storage, office productivity will suffer to the extent of 80% workload.  Hence it is suggested that by conversion of existing PC's into thin clients, the users may please be allowed to use existing windows or linux based desktop environment office applications and to store/save documents in local machines for output in printed forms.
Whether any civil or elect. works being carried out which may affect LAN implementation No civil works; Hqrs.office: Tested WAN location requires a shift due to office re-alignment); A/C facility available; Civil work to be done that will disturb LAN installation.
Anti Rodent / Pest Control To be ascertained and undertaken At Hqrs. and Local Divisinal Office building, problems need to be solved.
Availability of safe storage space for equipments  Yes..  Exceptions >> For Tiruvannamalai Range, suggested for delivery of  materials at  Divisional office, Villupuram.

Hqrs.Office = Informed stoppage of delivery of Materials, since space not available until office re-alignment work is completed. However, advance supply of one set of server + thin client + other lan equipments before start of realignment work and further supply of balance mateirlas after completion of re-alignment, has been requested for  so that......**
**  so that hqrs. office space can be re-aligned with new workstations and thereafter the WAN equipments and the Server Room is shifted to the new room in the same campus. However, in such a contingency, there is a possibility that the Hqrs. office can not see the documents posted on the ACES by the Divisional & Range officers, owing to LAN installation in Divisions ahead of  Hqrs.Office.  Thus, the Hqrs.office's  change management team will be left behind in understanding the package and the hardware usage;  it is therefore  desired that one set of server + thin client + scanner +  network printer may be supplied to Hqrs.Office for tentative  installlation at the existing communication room for learning purpose, so that the officers in charge of change management team at Hqrs.Office  may take part in earlier training schedule and can lead the Divsions and Ranges.
